Who we are

Minada is the collaboration of Guy Whicker and Bob Osborne to combine the skills and knowledge accrued over 60 cumulative years, to offer the highest of standards, in the Fireplace industry.

Working with and alongside some of the worlds premier Designers, Architects and Builders, Minada are proud to be regarded as one of the finest installation teams. As Masons, we also offer restoration as a service, primarily on stone or marble chimneypieces, but also other Architectural pieces.

About Us

Bob Osborne

A second generation mason, Robert Osborne (Bob) has over 45 years of experience, graduating as Top Mason in his year in 1974, after a successful apprenticeship with the Damers Brothers ltd, with Masonry skills, exemplified on works to Westminster Abbey, and then working for Harvey Bros' Bob then used his masonry skills working alongside his father, and worked for companies such as FW Pooles, and Thornhill Galleries. In the early 1980's Bob then focused upon the Fireplace restoration and installations side of the industry as a self employed Sub-Contractor to multiple companies specialising in the sale and supply of Chimneypieces

Guy Whicker

Bobs Step-son, with a background of Product Engineering, (BEng Hons), Guy made his way back to Fireplaces Via Working as a mason for FWPooles LTD, and then as a Mason and installer for Thornhill Galleries, before going self employed, and subsequently started trading as Minada in late 2014
